Survey question: What is more important - more time with Ate or more milk for Ate?
Clearly we can source out milk from other nursing moms. The supply won’t be as steady but we can supplement with powdered or fresh goats milk. We can’t always have donated breastmilk forever. She’s 19 months already! It’s a miracle she’s had almost 100% human breastmilk since I stopped giving her from my own breasts after she turned 1 year old. She takes at least 3 bottles a day and each bottle is at least 6oz. Sometimes it’s 10oz a bottle.
Yogurt milk was also suggested although the available ones are usually sweetened. She seemed to like the yogurt she tried two weekends ago.
Time. Well, that cannot be replaced. Once it passes, it’s gone forever.
Instead of pressuring myself to produce more breastmilk for Ate, I should just spend more time with her. Ant gets enough breastmilk for herself. So that should be fine. I need to take off the self inflicted pressure.
This is our life between inchpebbles and milestones. Our child with additional needs and our children with equal needs are our best teachers in life. And we parents are the students sharing our notes in this blog, hoping to learn the lesson.

Play Equipment
Took out the play gym again and this time, got better reaction from Ate. When the toys used to dangle on top of her, she wouldn’t mind them – or perhaps she didn’t see them before. Well, this time she grasps the play gym while sitting.
Wooden benches of different heights must be made..

Did some research on the resonance board by Lilli Nielsen. Looks like something Ate could use.
Overall, Ate has significant improvement although not much in the area of crawling. Have a scooter board made. A bit higher than this one...

The wooden horse lent by Tito Pablo should help in her walking.

Insist on crawling exercises, cross lateral, massages and vibrations.

Infant Visual Stimulation - make your own part 3
A tight fist. Ate’s left hand is often closed. How can she explore if she won’t open it up. Pablo improvised some garter wrapped in her palms to open up her hands. Encouraging her to feel different textures should open up her curiosity. Homework is to find rough textures like sand paper and bathroom spiked no-slip plastic mats.

Oma found plastic brush. Feels rough. Opened up Ate's hand. She pauses to feel it.

A cookie can makes loud clanking noise when she bangs on it. That's a sticker at the bottom part of the can. I thought it added more color and contrast.

It's also a good storage box for the La Maze magnetic stackable critters. Teehee.

Got this large powdered milk can from my sisinlaw. Ate liked it as a drum. Liked it even better when the magnetic critters started hanging on to it. Swipe away Ate!

Bottled water... fill it with silver glitters... add food coloring (or in this case, mouthwash and dishwashing soap)... shake, twist, twirl... see the lights reflect on the glitters...see her mesmerized by the sight. Got this idea from our Kindermusik teacher :)
Homemade visual and sound toys can be better for Ate. Tin cans, water bottles spoons and silverware offer more stimulation than manufactured toys. Improvise. Be creative.
