Christmas gifts for pre-school teachers

It's Ant's first Christmas in school and I wanted to give her teachers gifts that come from the heart.

Something useful.
Something they would appreciate.
Something that took effort and time in preparing since we want to show we appreciate their time and effort.
Somewhat personalized.
Something to affirm them.
Something within our tight budget.

So we came up with blank note cards with artworks done by Ant in school with her teachers. Hopefully they recognize her artworks. I will also write a heartfelt thank you card.



Some of the artworks she did with me at home before she started going to school. I'm just glad I took photos of her artworks before discarding them.

Standing

She can now stand! ...while holding on to something.

It's been a looooong while since my last blog. I had been working. Now that I've stopped and will be a SAHM for the next few months. Let's see if I can get back to writing on my online diary. Looking back at my previous posts (most of which are in draft mode still) I realize how writing has helped me cope with things. It's time to get them out of draft mode. And I saw how I truly enjoyed being at home with the kids. Maybe this is how I stand.
